Police are accused of beating Deepak simply because he looked like a Muslim, in which case the police administration suspended an ASI.

According to the report, Deepak was tortured on March 23. He was on his way to a government hospital for treatment that day.

Deepak is a diabetic. The lockdown was not enforced till then but section 144 was enforced in Madhya Pradesh.
