KARACHI: Edhi Foundation chief Faisal Edhi has said that so far 50 bodies and 7 injured people have been shifted to the hospital. One of the injured passengers is a resident of the area.

Faisal Edhi said that so far the bodies of 50 people including passengers and locals have been shifted to two hospitals in Karachi by Edhi Foundation ambulances.
He said that out of the injured who were rescued, one passenger was a resident of the rest of the area. Fifteen to twenty houses were severely affected in the accident which may have contained more than fifty bodies under the rubble.
Faisal Edhi said that if the debris removal work is started with the help of heavy machinery, it is likely to be cleared in two to three hours, but due to the narrowness of the streets, there are many problems in the rescue operation. But I can give it until tomorrow morning.
